Technology transfer and commercialization are relatively recent
endeavors for most universities and many are still refining their
policies and procedures.
While some universities strive to be on the forefront of socially
responsible licensing, others are evolving their policies, or
perhaps even operating outside of the movement toward
conscientious commercialization.
Thought leadership from select research universities is presented here
to encourage all institutions to improve their policies and processes to
