Annual Reports
Publication of annual results allows universities to share the success of their researchers and also encourages accountability and transparency in operations. Annual Reports typically present financial results from licensing efforts, but also
may focus on the benefit to public welfare, global publication, or patents applied for or defended through litigation.
Many technology transfer offices publish their Annual Reports on their website so they can be viewed by all interested parties. Because not every university does this, IP Advocate encourages universities that do not distribute their results in this way,
to find a way to implement and publish all results, including historical reports.
