Trade Secret Laws
The Uniform Trade Secrets Act (UTSA) has been adopted by 46 states, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands. This legislation protects and defends trade secrets under the civil law system. The only four states not to adopt the UTSA are Texas, New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
